target=\"_blank\">vestisferrea<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>A project I recently completed, a five piece suit based on one worn by Bela Lugosi in <i>The Black Cat<\/i> (1934), which I believe was part of his personal wardrobe.\u00a0 Since I had extra fabric, I also made matching plus fours and a cap.<\/p>\n<p>The jacket has four patch pockets on the front, one with a coin catch.\u00a0 The back is gathered with a yoke and belt.\u00a0 The inside has a partial lining, an in-breast pocket, and a small pen pocket.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"tmblr-full\"><img src=\"http:\/\/67.media.tumblr.com\/996ec56757554955ba461b70b3316b1b\/tumblr_inline_o23vocqNk21s1ca7u_540.jpg\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>The vest was patterned from the draft in A. A. Whife\u2019s <i>The Complete Tailor, Outfitter, and Clothier<\/i>, and has four pockets and a pocket in the lining, big enough for a passport or a couple sawbucks.<\/p>\n<p>The trousers and plus fours each have side pockets, one back pocket, and a watch pocket.\u00a0 Some minor differences in details of the tops.<\/p>\n<p>The cap was made using a 1920s draft.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Nikolai: Very cool. I have already two very similar projects but was always disappointend with the caps.
