Alfa Romeo 8C 2300, 1932, by Figoni et Falaschi. An example of one of the straight eight supercharged Alfa Romeos of the type that won Le Mans four times and the Mille Miglia three times. After passing through several owners this, the only short chassis to be bodied by Figoni, was given to Luigi Chinetti by his father as a 21st birthday present. Chinetti later became the first agent for Ferrari in North America. He owned the car for over 70 years. It has not been restored but has been made safe to run and is now offered for sale.
