Another giant steam locomotive from Germany. It is a Borsig express train from the 03 series. This one built in 1933 with 1980 horsepower, nearly 24 meter length and a top speed of 130 km/h.

Since I started traveling by train as preferred vehicle this year at some point the interbellum aspect came in. Here a locomotive from the Wiener Lokfabrik built in 1940. It is the 23 m long 50° series. Looks like hard work to be a loco driver and fireman.
Mercedes Benz 630 Kompressor, 1928
The model series 630 powered by supercharged engines built on from 1926 has significantly contributed to the fame of the Mercedes Brand. This version has 140 HP from a 6 cylinder inline engine with 6240 ccm displacement. Topspeed is 140 km/h with a fuel flow of approx. 25 l per 100 km. This C-Cabriolet carriage is done directly at the Mercedes plant in Sindelfingen.
Mercedes Benz 500 K with Erdmann & Rossi carriage
On from 1933 MB introduced the 500 model series. The cars were available with different carriages. All models are equipped with an 8-cylinder OHV inline engine with 5018 ccm displacement and a switchable roots compressor. The engine has an output of 100 HP without and 160 HP with supercharging, what is sufficient for a topspeed of 160 km/h. This MB shown here was custom made according to the car of the former King of Iraq.
